A 20-year-old man from Manali was suffering from a brain tumour. In Chandigarh he had two operations, both of which did not cure his condition, but exacerbated it. These operations and the resulting suffering took place over a two-year period. Finally, the doctor advised another operation. At this time, the family contacted Mr. Wangyal. They were beginning to have doubts about their doctor. Mr. Wangyal put them in touch with a doctor at AIIMS Hospital in Delhi who was one of the most qualified to deal with this young man’s problem. Since the doctor knows Mr. Wangyal, he was upset that the patient had not been brought to him in the first place. Mr. Wangyal explained that the parents had only just contacted him. Needless to say, the new operation was a success.
