HIV problem in Tibetan community

A 49-year-old male from Himachal Pradesh, who was HIV positive and also suffering from Hepatitis B and TB, came to Delhi for treatment. Mr. Wangyal was contacted and he was able to arrange his medical care in AIIMS but because at present there is no house in which patients can stay, the patient was forced to make repeated and debilitating trips to and from Himachal Pradesh. As a result, this patient has now passed away.

November has been a busy month for us at PCT. In keeping view of our mission to provide safe and high medical care for all Tibetans, we are hoping to carry forward few projects in 2018 for moving towards a progressive step. There were many people who have always lent their hands in support in times of need, and we remain grateful to all these wonderful people.
