A 28-year-old male from Bir, HP, was diagnosed with chronic liver disease with portal hypertension massive ascites. He experienced severe abdominal and chest bloating, with fluid filling his insides. Because of the great urgency of his case, Mr. Wangyal immediately took him to St. Stephen’s hospital at night. After being looked after at the hospital, he was out of danger and he was discharged some days later. However, the doctor said that he should return for weekly review. But as there was no house for him to stay in during his treatment in Delhi, the patient was forced to make repeated and debilitating trips to and from Delhi for his medical check-ups period as a result of these trips, the patient passed away.
